NEW Jane Iredale Dream Tint SPF 15

It's finally happened. I've been hoping for a while that it would. About six months ago, I posted a comment on Jane Iredale's blog telling her how much I like her line (it's the crème de la crème of mineral makeup) and how I'd love for her to develop a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. Well, she has.

Dream Tint SPF 15—which has a lovely, mousse-like texture—comes in five gorgeous shades plus a peach brightener (for pigmentation problems), lilac brightener (for sallow complexions) and a warm bronzer (for a sun-kissed glow).

Pretty factor: Lightweight shea butter, jojoba seed oil, and sunflower seed oil moisturize and give a fresh, dewy look without slight greasiness. Dimethicone (a main ingredient in face primers) fills in fine lines and large pores, creating a smooth, flawless canvas. White tea and titanium dioxide protect against free radical and sun damage, respectively.

Ideal for: all skin types, truly.

Eco factor: No talc, parabens, phthalates, bismuth oxychloride, or chemical dyes or fragrance. Jane Iredale recently instated a Green Team to help environmentalize the company and is building a new LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) office building!

To buy: $36 at janeiredaledirect.com and skinbotanica.com

Hi. Thanks for the comment! No, I haven't tried her Just Kissed sticks. because they only come in 3 shades, non of which work for me. But I'm on the hunt for a good, natural plumping lip product....

I buy all my Jane Iredale products for cheap at http://www.AgelessApple.com. They ship quick and I love that they donate 10% of their profits to animals in need. They carry almost all Obagi products and have phenomonal prices. Go check them out!

I have used Dream Tint all summer, and must say I'm hooked... Lovely scent and feeling, as in other Iredale produts with algae extracts (i'm using the brow gel too). The DT does smooth fine lines, i've tried it on my 67 yrs old mother too and the effect was visible!

what color do you use? I've never seen her line in stores, so I can't try out the colors, which is annoying. I'm fair-medium, MAC NC 20/25. Thanks!

This is my absolute favorite tinted moisturizer. Thanks for reviewing it!

Jane Iredale is an OK choice better than the other ones listed here but if you are prone to breakouts meaning:blackheads, milia or any other kind, then stay away from Dimethicone a type of silicone and most Jane Iredale products are loaded with this.Bare Minerals is still the healthiest one out there and if you don't mind something pricier check out Cristopher Drummond(www.christopherdrummond.com).I don't work for any of these companies but I would like to help those looking for "safe" cosmetics out there.
